we started making tiny hands years ago as a way to pass time at work. when we launched our site over a year ago, our goal was to make people make people laugh, but we weren’t quite sure if other people would think our version of “weird” was worth looking at. today, we won a webby award for this strange little blog of messed-with pictures. we are so incredibly grateful for all of the amazing messages, emails, kind words, and funny comments you’ve all shared with us over the last 13 months.
moral of the story: if you’re the weird kid in class, keep being weird. if you have a strange idea you’re excited about but fear that other people won’t like it, stay focused and go for it. and if you’re in a room full of people who see things one way but you see them differently, be open to the road less travelled. there’s a world full of great people waiting with open arms (and tiny hands) to embrace you and all your weirdness, and it feels really good when they do.
thanks again for being awesome. we love all of you. -your friends at oth
spiderman.
a quick note: we were nominated for a webby award a few days ago. you can vote here if you’d like (and check out all of the other great sites that were recognized, because there’s a lot of cool stuff on there). but we’d mainly like to take the opportunity to thank you for being so awesome over the last year. if there were an award for coolest, greatest fans, there wouldn’t be a contest- you’d all get one. thanks again. -your friends at oth :-)
